Climate change is affecting every region on earth. The direct impacts we experience include an increase in the global temperature, rising sea levels, and more extreme weather conditions. Two-way linkages between human behaviour and climate have the potential to strongly influence GHG emissions so one of the keys to protecting our planet is promoting sustainable consumption and production, sustainably managing its natural resources and taking urgent action on climate change (2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development). Since Education has a key role in inspiring sustainable behavior, the project aims at increasing climate change awareness by providing high school teachers and trainers with an innovative, more effective tool to teach climate change and raise awareness on the environmental impact of daily approach to food consumption.

This will be achieved by introducing the non-formal education tool of the Escape Room game and trough the creation of a Toolkit to be handed to the teachers, while also undergoing a training activity on how to conduct an Escape Game themselves.
